Society of Delaware
Mission / Purpose

To establish and operate a nonprofit corporation organized and operated exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended from time to time, and whose principal purpose is improving the health of all patients in the state of Delaware suffering from rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases, as more specifically set forth below; and.

To work with all Rheumatologists in Delaware, their professional rheumatology societies, and other interested parties so as to ensure that all patients in Delaware suffering from rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases have access to the highest quality of medical care possible; and

To assist its members in providing leadership on rheumatologic and musculoskeletal health issues through advocacy and awareness, communications, education, and sharing of research with respect to rheumatologic and musculoskeletal diseases with the Delaware medical and health care community; and

To provide a forum for its members to create and advance a rheumatologic and musculoskeletal health agenda in private, public, and political forums; and

To perform all things incidental to, or appropriate in, the achievement of its aforementioned specific and primary charitable purposes, including, without limitation, receiving, administering, and expending public or private funds for such purposes.
